Variety reports that New line Cinema has hired William Goldman (Dreamcatcher) to adapt DC Comics classic Shazam! into an Epic movie.Shazam! tells the story of Billy Batson, who transforms into Captain Marvel, the world's mightiest mortal, when he says the name of the ancient wizard Shazam. Shazam! is slated for a 2004 or 2005 release. I've always wanted to see this go to the big screen. I will keep you updated.
