    That's right Whovians ,"Doctor Who" has returned to entertain and amaze a whole new generation of Sci-Fi fans.

    The longest running science fiction TV series in history has come back and not just only on the BBC , the good doctor is also seeing American patients as well on The Sci-Fi Channel.

    This time around the 9th and current doctor is played by actor Christopher Eccleston (28 Days Later, The Others) and as tradition continues the doctor has a lovely assistant to accompany him on his many adventures through time and space, the character's name is Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) the sole surviving Earthling who is rescued by the Doctor in the first episode of this new series.

    Doctor Who has been a British television staple since it's debut in 1963 and has built an impressive army of fans and a powerful cult following over the years. The new show has all the famous Who trademarks ,like the evil Daleks , Cybermen, exotic alien worlds, interesting out of this world aliens and of course the Timelord's preferred mode of transportation...the "TARDIS" (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space).

    You can catch the continued adventures of the universe's most famous Time Lord every Friday night at 10pm , check your local listings for channel and times. This Doctors prescription is definitely worth taking!
