"Don't panic!"

The film you've all been waiting for has finally come to DVD and no it isn't "Bubs and Hal do Alpha Centauri VI", it's in fact the hit sci-fi comedy;"The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy" the long awaited feature film adaptation of author Douglas Adams best-selling series about the cosmic misadventures of Arthur Dent, the last remaining survivor of the planet Earth.

The DVD features a virtual galaxy of extras including; audio commentary, deleted scenes, games, a special sing-a-long section, and featurette about the making of the film. The movie, directed by Garth Jennings from a script written by the late Douglas Adams (he passed away during the production of the film) stars; Mos Def (Ford Prefect), Sam Rockwell (Zaphod Beeblebrox), Zooey Deschanel (Trillian), and Martin Freeman as bewildered earthman, Arthur Dent.

The film is refreshingly true to the book and features stunning effects and creatures by the award-winning artists from the Henson Co.

The cast turns in effective performances, especially MARVIN (voiced by the talented Alan Rickman) the depressed and cynical robot with a brain the size of a planet.
