 This summer on the Sci-Fi channel the gallant crew of the Galactica and the remaining survivors of the 13 colonies return for a second season on the hit science fiction adventure series "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA".
All of the original cast members are returning to the series which will be taking up where it left off last season, which ended with some shocking cliffhangers; the brutal attack of Commander Addama (Edward James Olmos) by one of his own, Boomer (the beautiful Grace Park), the revelation that Boomer is in fact one of the cylon model agents, and that an identical model is apparently pregnant with Lt. "Helo's" child...WOW! Not to mention President Roslyn's arrest and Capt. "Apollo's" mutinous actions which resulted in his arrest. For those who are new to the show it's an updated version of the original series that aired in the late 70's and starred; Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, and Jane Seymour.The series featured the impressive effects wizardry of John Dyksta (Star Wars).
The new series is even more impressive with state of the art effects and top notch storytelling, and a talented cast. So prepare to join in the ongoing adventures of the last Battlestar "Galactica" as it ventures into deep uncharted space with the remaining "ragtag" fleet of the colonies trying to stay one step ahead of merciless Cylons. The 2nd season kicks off this coming Friday night on the Sci-Fi channel. Check your local listings for start times.
