New Toys Scheduled from Tim Burton Print E-mail
    09 Mar 2003
    Straight from Hal's Webcam:

Dark Horse Comics has signed up with Tim Burton to Make Toys and other merchandise based on Burton's 1997 book of short stories entitled: The Melancholy Death of OysterBoy and Other Stories. This is a book of wonderful twisted tales and poems from the mind or Mr. Burton with characters like Mummy boy, Roy the Toxic Boy, Staring Girl and my favorite Stainboy(it's about time). If you know nothing about the book you should pick it up its a good read. So anything coming from Tim Burtons mind turned toy should be a hit(except of course The Planet of the Apes toys yuck!) The Dark Horse toys and other products based off the book should hit the stores in fall of 2003.
    I will keep you updated.
    Hal
