According to the Hollywood Reporter, The highly anticipated sequel to "Freddy vs. Jason," titled "Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash," is still alive! With the "success" of "Freddy vs. Jason" and "Alien vs. Predator," New Line is still considering doing "Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash," in which the two horror icons would go up against Ash, from the "Evil Dead" series.

Bruce has previously dismissed this idea as just an internet rumor, stating that most likely "we'll be seeing Joanie Loves Chachi Loves Ash first".

The studio is reportedly in talks with Sam Raimi who directed the "Evil Dead" trilogy. He would probably not direct the movie but he does own the rights to the "Evil Dead" films along with Universal Studios (AOD was a Universal release, which could cause trouble). Bruce Campbell would (of course) reprise the role of Ash for the film.

If ASH doesn't work out, the studio would then seek another horror icon to join Freddy and Jason, or maybe even create a new character.

Maybe they'll make a "Freddy vs. Ash vs. Jason vs. Alien vs. Predator"... 

They could call it "FAJAP"
