The Jonny Quest collection sounds good. (Of course, there was only one "first season." The others were new shows made long after the original. ) I'd like to see some extras on it, like the original ABC promos for it that said "showing things in a way you've never seen before."
They were right, you know. There were no "serious" cartoons done in the United States since the Fleischer "Superman" cartoons that showed realistic human beings. "Jonny Quest" was a pioneering show, and Hanna-Barbara's biggest mistake was not following up on it.
