Jurassic Park could be one of the greatest, and yet, one of the worst movies of all time. With its breakthrough effects, original story, and little known but excellent cast, this film has become a cult classic, and a favorite among many people in the world. But despite the breathtaking graphics and the innovative screenplay, this is probably the worst put together movie I have ever seen. The mistakes are endless. From unbearably noticeable editing faults to spelling Stegosaurus wrong on a label for a prop, many things went overlooked in the editing process. I can’t believe that Mr. Speilberg left the editing floor so clean, and it still amazes me to this day, that this remains his most poorly assembled blockbuster...these “flubs” are listed on this remarkable site:
The Flubs of Jurassic Park Page
Even with all the mistakes, they are easily over-looked as you are mesmerized watching this masterpiece unfold right before your eyes. I didn’t even notice the first one until my fourth or fifth time watching it. With countless memorable quotes like, “clever girl…”, “I think we’re out of a job - don’t you mean extinct?”, and, “life finds a way”, this movie remains my most adored of all time. It is a true classic and should be in the DVD collection of every true Sci-Fi fan. - Jordy |
